Trump responds to Scott Adams' plea for assistance with cancer treatment: 'On it'

Trump Expresses Support for Scott Adams Amid Cancer Treatment Struggles

President Trump has voiced his support for Scott Adams, the creator of “Dilbert,” who has reached out to the former president regarding his cancer treatment. In a recent post on his Truth Social platform, Trump included a screenshot of Adams’ plea, revealing that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.

“So!” Trump commented in the post.

Adams indicated on social media that he would be asking Trump for assistance to “save lives.” He mentioned that Trump had previously offered help, and he felt he needed it now.

While he has been approved for a new drug called Pulvict by the FDA, Adams faced issues with his healthcare provider, Kaiser Permanente, which altered the schedule for his treatment. “I can’t seem to fix that,” he stated.

Describing his deteriorating health, Adams said, “I’m in a rapid decline.” He urged Trump to contact Kaiser in Northern California to expedite his appointment, commenting that such a response might allow him to prolong his life.

“This isn’t a cure, but it has positive outcomes for many people,” he added.

Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary of Health and Human Services, reacted to Adams’ situation, suggesting they could assist in establishing contact with Trump. “Scott. How do I contact you? The President would like to help,” he wrote.

Kaiser Permanente, in a statement, assured that Adams’ oncology team was already working on his treatment plan. They noted that their specialists have treated numerous patients with similar conditions since the drug’s FDA approval three years ago, emphasizing their experience with both the medication and the disease.

At 67, Adams has generated attention in the past for controversial remarks he made. He has been a notable supporter of Trump, and after being diagnosed, he expressed empathy towards Biden, who has a similar cancer diagnosis, conveying his respect and sympathy to the former president and his family during this challenging time.
