Trump Reveals Plans for Presidential Library in Miami
Recently, President Trump showcased an eye-catching design for his upcoming high-rise presidential library and museum in downtown Miami.
A video featuring the architectural plans shared by the president depicts a skyscraper looming over Miami’s skyline. The name “Trump” is prominently illuminated near the top, just underneath a red, white, and blue antenna that crowns the structure.
At the midsection of the building, there’s an American flag flying above what looks to be a statue of Trump, positioned over the golden entrance. The statue appears to depict the former president with a fist raised, perhaps echoing his “fight, fight, fight” gesture following an assassination attempt in July 2024 in Butler, Pennsylvania.
As visitors step inside, they’re met by a replica of the iconic Air Force One, placed beside a striking golden escalator. This setup seems to hark back to how Trump first announced his presidential campaign in 2015.
The video features a lineup of military helicopters, fighter jets, and tanks positioned in a hallway that leads further into the building.
The skyscraper plans include features like the Oval Office, a “Presidential Walk of Fame,” and a replication of the new White House ballroom. There’s also a modern auditorium and a terraced garden complete with a fountain.
The design is primarily glass, with windows on every floor, which differs from former President Barack Obama’s library and museum in Chicago—often criticized for its monolithic appearance, drawing comparisons to both a “monolith” and the “Death Star.”
The architectural firm behind this ambitious project is Bermelo Ajamil, a firm based in Florida that is part of Woolpert.
Additionally, the Presidential Library Foundation was established last year in Florida to gather funds for the creation of this library and museum.
As of now, the White House has not provided a comment regarding this new venture.
