Trump reveals UFC match at White House for America250 festivities

President Trump: We Saved Our Country

During a recent event in Iowa, former President Donald Trump expressed his enthusiasm for a new initiative celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. He referred to this effort as a “big and beautiful bill” and announced plans for a UFC event to take place at the White House next year.

“Our national parks, battlefields, and historic sites will all host special events in honor of ‘America 250,’” Trump noted in a speech delivered just before the July 4th holiday. He mentioned, perhaps rather casually, that there’s a plan to include the UFC in this celebration.

“Are you watching the UFC? With Dana White? We’re considering doing a UFC event on the White House grounds,” he said, suggesting that they have ample space for such an occasion. It sounds, well, kind of ambitious, doesn’t it?

He continued, “We’re not really planning any structures—well, Dana isn’t looking to make that happen. Still, we could have championship-level fights there, with crowds of about 20,000 to 25,000 people.”

While it sounds exciting, the specifics of the event haven’t been finalized yet; no official permits or logistics have been confirmed. The National Park Service, which oversees the White House grounds, hasn’t commented on this proposal, and the UFC has remained silent on the matter.

It appears that Trump, a longtime supporter of Dana White and the UFC, is keen to incorporate sports into this significant national celebration. Just recently, at UFC events, he has been spotted enjoying the atmosphere, often showcasing his celebratory dance moves as he passed through crowds. He seems to draw a lot of energy from these experiences.
