CNN senior political data reporter Harry Enten said on Monday that Americans supported President Donald Trump more than former President Biden in regards to the war in Ukraine.
Enten said, “The easiest way you can ask this is, “Do you think Americans like the way Trump handles his work and like to compare that to how he felt about Joe Biden?” So this is a net approval rating. You're watching Joe Biden in 2024. He was a sacred cow, 22 points under the water. You see Donald Trump. It's a completely different planet. In other words, the bay between these two is wider than the Gulf of America or Mexico, depending on which side of the passage you stand on. ”
He added: “He's on a plus two, so at this particular point, the Americans are giving Donald Trump the bounty of doubt. He's doing much better than Joe Biden was doing about handling the Russian-Ukurein conflict, so on about this simple question, I think Americans are saying, “OK, Donald Trump is fine about this.”
