Trump says he has agreed to 3 debates against Kamala Harris

Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he had reached an agreement with Harris’ campaign for three debates.

“I think it’s very important to have a debate,” Trump said. Media briefing.

“We agreed with Fox on a Sept. 4 date. We agreed with NBC on Sept. 10 with pretty full terms and conditions. We agreed with ABC on Sept. 25,” the former president said. “They’re very eager to get that date.”

President Trump effectively ended Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy after one disastrous debate.

He added that details about the location or audience for the debate have yet to be worked out and would need to be agreed to by Harris’ campaign, but he doesn’t expect that to be a deterrent.

He also accused the Harris campaign of avoiding interviews since the vice president took over the top spot.

“The other side has to agree to the terms. I don’t know if they will. She hasn’t been interviewed. She can’t be interviewed. She’s barely competent. And she can’t be interviewed.”

Harris’ campaign has come under increasing pressure for avoiding interviews and was mocked for refusing to comment on her decision to shy away from the media.

President Trump effectively ended Joe Biden’s candidacy for president after Biden stumbled and appeared confused during a disastrous debate, and Biden soon called off his reelection campaign to endorse Kamala Harris as his nominee.

Even after Trump narrowly survived an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally, polls have shown a surge in support for the Democratic candidate.
