President-elect Donald Trump said, “God saved me.'' [his] There is a reason for life,” Trump said in his victory speech at President Trump's headquarters early Wednesday morning.
Trump, who has been the target of two assassination attempts since July, expressed gratitude for his second term in office in a 25-minute speech in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason, and that reason was to save our country and make America great again,” Trump said. said. “And now we will carry out that mission together.”
He continued, “The task before us will not be easy, but I will put all the energy, spirit, and fight in my soul to the task you have entrusted to me.”

The first assassination attempt on President Trump's life took place on July 13th at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
