Former President Trump on Tuesday opened fire on MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell, saying he “looks like…” as he met him in a New York City courthouse during his first criminal trial.
“I saw Mr. Lawrence O’Donnell of MSDNC in court today, whose rating was challenged. I haven’t seen him in years,” Trump said. I have written on his Truth Social website late Tuesday. “He looks like a real loser.”
In another post, the former president said, ridiculed “NBC FAKE NEWS” which he called “one of the worst news in the industry!!!”
The former president has relentlessly attacked NBC and its progressive sister networks for months, after the network suggested earlier this year that it would be investigated by the federal government for what he called “treason.” It attracted attention.
Trump is currently on trial in New York, facing 34 charges of falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Daniels took to the witness stand Tuesday and gave risqué testimony about his 2006 alleged affair with the former president.
The trial became a huge media event, with prominent pundits and anchors from MSNBC and CNN sitting in the courtroom gallery watching the proceedings.
