Former President Trump said a photo of a red mark on his hand that sparked speculation online last week may have been the result of artificial intelligence (AI).
President Trump was photographed leaving Trump Tower on January 17, ahead of author E. Jean Carroll’s defamation trial, with what appeared to be red marks on his hands. This led to speculation online and in the media that he had a skin condition, was daubed with red marker, or had a paper cut.
President Trump spoke about these theories after Fox News reporter Mark Meredith asked him about the matter after Wednesday’s meeting with the Teamsters union. According to the clip It aired on FOX News later that day. President Trump didn’t seem to understand what Meredith was saying.
