Trump says son Barron advises him on politics: ‘He is a smart one’

Former President Trump said his 18-year-old son, Barron, is a “smart guy” who he trusts to advise him on politics.

President Trump said his youngest son, who is set to make his political debut at this year’s Republican National Convention, “loves” the industry. The first presidential election in which Mr. Barron will be eligible to vote will be held in November.

“He saw it. He doesn’t have to listen. He’s a smart guy. He doesn’t have to listen very much. But he’s a great guy,” Trump said Friday on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210. Speaking to “Kayal & Co.” on WEPHT. “He’s a little tall. I’ll tell you, he’s tall, but he’s a handsome guy.”

“And he was a really great student,” he continued. “And he likes politics. It’s kind of funny. He says to me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do.'”

The former president added, “He’s a senior in high school right now and he’s planning on going to college. And if you look at what’s been going on in the past month, a lot of the college options are changing.” I get it. Biden has completely lost control of the country.”

Barron Trump has been named one of 41 Republican delegates to represent Florida at the party’s convention in Milwaukee in July. During the convention, the party is expected to formally nominate Trump as the Republican presidential nominee and formally set up a rematch with President Biden in November.

The younger Trump will be accompanied by three of the former president’s other children, including Eric, Tiffany and Donald Trump Jr. serve as a representative.

Barron Trump has spent most of his life away from the political spotlight. He was 10 years old when his father was elected president in 2016.

Last month, he asked Judge Juan Machan, who is overseeing the former president’s hush money trial, for special permission to miss one day of court to attend Barron’s high school graduation on May 17. It was widely reported. Machan ultimately said he would respond in court. It was not in session that day, and the defendant was allowed to attend the graduation ceremony.
