Trump says Zelenskyy wants to back out of mineral deal, addresses 3rd term during gaggle

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Ukrainian President Voldy Zelensky is about to retreat from rare earth trade with the United States, adding that he will have “some issues.”

“By the way, I think Zelensky is about to step back from the rare earth trade. If he does that, he has some issues – a big, big problem,” Trump spoke to Air Force 1 reporters on Sunday. “We've traded on rare earths, and now he's saying, 'Well, you know, I want to renegotiate the deal.' He wants to be a member of NATO.

Zelenskyy said last month that Ukraine is always ready to sign a security agreement with the Minerals and the United States, and that the agreement is seen as a step towards greater security and a robust security guarantee.

Zelenskyy's statement comes after two leaders visited the White House, where it was expected to sign an agreement on rare earth minerals. However, the visit became sour and Zelenskyy was kicked out of the president's house.

Trump says Inter's pause in Ukraine has been “just” lifted. Tariffs say it will enrich America

Trump told reporters on Sunday that Ukrainian President Voldimir Zelenki would like to remove it from the rare earth mineral trade.

While speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump said he and his team were making progress in a ceasefire contract between Ukraine and Russia.

One reporter asked if Trump would say he has the lowest ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The president said no, but added that he didn't think Putin would return to his words due to a partial ceasefire. He also said that deals with people are made, whether you like them or not.

Trump explained that Putin had said several things Zelensky hadn't trusted in the last few days, adding that he wasn't satisfied with it. But Trump added, he thinks Putin is good. He also said he didn't want to impose secondary tariffs on Russia.

The US has placed secondary tariffs on Venezuela, but Trump said it had “a very strong influence.”

“I know that all the ships left and left. Many of them left. They dropped the hose right into the sea. “But they didn't want me to see them there. So Venezuela and the secondary tariffs, all secondary tariffs are very strong. Basically, because you can't do business in the United States even if you go against our orders and say that's the catch.”

Trump said he plans to attack every country with tariffs.

“If you look at history, see what happened to us… look at trade with Asia. “We'll be… they'll be much more generous than us.”

Trump also addressed questions about the possibility of running in the third term. He had said earlier that day that he was “not kidding.”

Initially, Trump told reporters he hadn't seen the third term, noting that people had spoken with him about the possibility of a third term.

He said the 2020 election, which lost to current former President Joe Biden, was “fully equipped,” but he said he would not trust his third attempt.

Trump also said his administration had 100 days, the best of any other president.

“I was with people that are very important today and they said they've never seen a turnaround this fast,” he said.

Trump quickly shot them down as reporters kept pushing him for the third term.

“I don't want to talk about it,” he told one reporter. “I don't want to talk about the third period right now. We have a long time.
