Former President Donald Trump has a double-digit lead over President Joe Biden in Florida, according to a new Emerson College poll.

The full survey was conducted April 9-10, 2024 among 1,000 registered voters. This figure has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points and comes as Florida continues to move in a Republican direction and becomes more Republican by the day.
In early April, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that a 1 million-person advantage in voter registration was “within reach,” with Republicans closing in on a 900,000-person advantage over Democrats.
Before 2021, there had never been more registered Republicans than Democrats in Florida. Voter R registration benefits are now within reach for 1 million people.

Additionally, the Florida Republican Party told Breitbart News in March that Florida is now a “deep red” state.
“Florida Democrats are toast, but we cannot let confidence stand in the way of our hard work to deliver Florida’s electoral votes to President Trump,” said Evan Power, chairman of the Florida Republican Party.
“The American people cannot afford another four years of a Biden Democrat who has crippled our economy and endangered our national security. That’s why Republican voter registration numbers are increasing,” Power added. .
