Trump Set to Announce over $100 Billion Investment from Taiwanese Company

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is scheduled to announce another major private sector investment in the US at the White House on Monday, Breitbart News can be seen.

Taiwanese chipmakers will invest more than $100 billion in the US, CNN's Alayna Treene said in an X post.

Wall Street Journal Report Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. has been investing for four years.

This investment will be used to build cutting-edge chip manufacturing facilities. Such expansion will advance the long-throwing US goal of re-growing the domestic semiconductor industry after manufacturing has fled primarily to Asian countries in recent decades.
Trump is expected to announce his investment from the Roosevelt Room in the White House at 1:30pm ET. This marks the latest in a series of foreign and domestic investments in the United States that Trump has announced since taking office. Just a day after assuming a presidency, Oracle Committee Chairman and CTO Larry Ellison, son of SoftBank CEO Masayoshi, and Open CEO Sam Altman joined Trump at the White House to announce a $500 billion investment in American artificial intelligence infrastructure through a company called Stargate.

Stargate “will invest “$500 billion in at least US AI infrastructure, move very quickly and create more than 100,000 American jobs almost immediately,” Trump announced.

In late February, Apple announced that it would “invest 50 trillion dollars in the US over the next four years and employ 20,000 new workers.”

Additionally, global real estate developer DAMAC Properties is planning to invest at least $20 billion in the US to build the data center. Trump and Emirati tycoon Hussein Sajwani announced their investments at a press conference held at Mar-a-Lago in January before Trump took office.
