Progress on New White House Ballroom

After the Supreme Court opted to allow construction to move forward, work on the new ballroom at the White House has been picking up pace. This decision was made two weeks ago, in a tight 5-4 vote, amidst ongoing legal disputes.

On Sunday, Trump took to Truth Social to share what he described as the “first interior renderings” of the ballroom project.

Trump expressed, “First interior renderings of the magnificent new Ballroom at the White House. Massively expensive, but free of charge to the American Taxpayer — On budget, and ahead of schedule!”

In another post that same day, he expressed enthusiasm about the progress, labeling the ballroom as potentially the “greatest of its kind.” He added that this project was a gift to the nation and assured that it would not use taxpayer funds.

He remarked, “The Spectacular Ballroom being built at the White House. Will be the GREATEST of its kind anywhere in the World! Also, it is a Gift to the U.S.A. from me and other American Patriots — No Taxpayer Dollars will be expended in its Construction.”

Reports indicate that Trump has mobilized a substantial workforce—around 250 people—to work long hours, aiming to expedite the completion of this ambitious project.

The backdrop of these updates is the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that allows construction on the ballroom to proceed while related lawsuits are still being addressed in lower courts.
