Trump shares who ought to testify in Biden autopen investigation

Trump Accuses Biden of Cognitive Decline and Misused Authority

Former President Donald Trump has stated that anyone interested in hearing testimony regarding Joe Biden’s alleged cognitive decline and potentially unauthorized actions should take note. In a conversation with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Trump suggested that the so-called Biden Autopen scandal could be one of the most significant issues in history.

“Lisa Monaco, a strong supporter of Andrew Weissman, should definitely testify. Those are the types of people who I believe are problematic. They had a radical individual in their office, and they effectively took control. They realized over time that Biden was not capable…” Trump mentioned in a recent interview on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

He continued, “Biden never really stood for open borders. He wasn’t for the transgender issues. He didn’t advocate for men competing in women’s sports. That just wasn’t him…”

Monaco acted as the U.S. Deputy Attorney General during Biden’s presidency from 2021 to 2025. A year ago, Biden’s campaign lost momentum and he faced one presidential debate against Trump before Kamala Harris stepped in.

Trump and other Republicans have suggested that Biden’s aides may have abused his authority by taking executive actions that overstepped their bounds, a claim Trump highlighted in a memo.

“I doubt Biden was even aware of much happening,” Trump claimed. “The real driver of the autopen was the president himself.”

Earlier this year, Trump initiated an investigation into the previous administration to support his accusations. However, Biden insists he has full control over the White House during his presidency.

“I make decisions about pardons, executive orders, and laws. To claim otherwise is just absurd and untrue,” Biden stated.

He criticized the allegations as distractions from Trump and Congressional Republicans’ attempts to undermine critical programs like Medicaid and their efforts that may increase costs for American families.
