Former CNN host Don Lemon said on “OutFront” on Monday that former President Donald Trump “should stop threatening democracy” if he doesn't want Democrats to call him a threat to democracy.
Regarding the second assassination attempt, Lemon said, “The problem is that Donald Trump and his aides and J.D. Vance are saying that it's the Democrats who are causing this.”
He continued, “He called everyone who works in this building an enemy of the people. They sent out pipe bombs because he kept calling us enemies of the people and saying CNN is fake news. Bad Joe, bad Hillary, bad Kamala, comrade Kamala, crazy Jack Smith, bird brain Nikki Haley, if he's not elected there will be blood, if he's not elected there will be no next election, they're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, they're polluting the blood of our nation, they're destroying the blood of our nation. That's Hitler-ish. Communists, Marxists, fascists, leftists who live like vermin, bastards of NBA players, shitty countries, Haiti was one of them, and now you blame Haitian immigrants, you talk about Megan Kelly and blood is coming out of nowhere.”
Lemon added: “If Donald Trump doesn't want Kamala Harris and others to say he's a threat to democracy, then he should stop threatening democracy. If he doesn't want people to be honest about who he is and what he's doing, then maybe he shouldn't try to overturn the election, or topple the government, or incite an insurrection.”
