President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday night, which will stop illegal immigrants from receiving federally funded benefits.

“My administration supports the rule of law, prevents waste of resources for hard-earned taxpayers and protects the interests of US citizens in need, including disabled and veterans,” Trump's order. Please read the text.
His announcement was 47th The president said the Personal Responsibility and Labor Opportunity Settlement Act of 1996 (PRWORA) prohibits illegal immigrants from getting benefits funded by most taxpayers, but he said the law was established. He claimed it has been weakened for many years since.

With the new order, all federal agencies' heads will “identify programs for all federal funds currently managed by agencies that allow illegal foreigners to obtain cash or non-cash public interest.” and “take all appropriate measures to coordinate such programs” in PRWORA and other federal laws.
Furthermore, 47th The president has told officials that “in line with applicable law, promotes so-called “sanctuary” policies that seek to subsidize or promote illegal immigration, or shield, by design or effect, by way of design or effectiveness. The order calls on agents to refer illegal immigrant benefits to the Department of Justice and Homeland Security for “appropriate action.”
Trump signed another executive order on Wednesday, working with members of the newly established Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE), directing leaders of all agencies to review all regulations.
The commander was praised by Elon Musk and his Doge division to help implement his executive order.
On his first day in office, Trump signed 10 executive orders on immigration. Part of this included ending automatic citizenship for people born in the United States and automatic citizenship for asylum on the southern border.
