Trump Hosts Rally in Support of Senator Graham

Former President Donald Trump held a lively rally at Clemson University’s T. Ed Garrison Arena on Wednesday evening, rallying support for Republican Senator Darline Graham as early voting kicks off in South Carolina.

This event is part of a broader initiative to bolster key Republican candidates across various states, and it took place in a reliably Republican area that has recently shifted to a more competitive landscape.

Graham, who stepped in to fill her brother Lindsey Graham’s seat upon his passing, is facing a tough challenge against Democratic candidate Annie Andrews.

During his speech, Trump emphasized the critical nature of the upcoming election, asking attendees to think of it as if he were on the ballot himself.

“So what I really want you to do is pretend, please, that I’m on the ballot,” Trump said, highlighting the importance of strong Republican turnout to safeguard the party’s slim majority in Congress.

As he spoke, Trump took aim at Andrews, portraying her as out of touch with South Carolina voters and presenting Graham as a reliable conservative who can uphold her brother’s legacy.

Towards the end of the rally, Graham joined Trump on stage, commending the former administration’s policies and assuring the enthusiastic crowd that South Carolina is certainly “Trump country.”

The rally was marked by some disturbances from left-wing protesters both inside and outside the arena, which led to heated exchanges and the removal of the disruptive individuals by security.

Despite these interruptions, Trump remained focused on mobilizing conservative voters, encouraging them to vote early and ensure Graham secures her position in the Senate.
