Trump states Epstein 'took' women from Mar-a-Lago spa

Trump Discusses Split with Jeffrey Epstein

WASHINGTON – President Trump shared details about his break from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Tuesday, stating that Epstein used Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club Spa as a place to find young women.

“People are aware of those who were involved, particularly regarding staff members,” Trump, now 79, mentioned upon returning to Washington after spending five days in Scotland. “However, the narrative has been pretty consistent.”

He noted that he had asked Epstein to leave, emphasizing that Epstein, who passed away in a Manhattan prison on August 10, 2019, had no place at his resort.

“I have a fantastic spa at Mar-a-Lago, one of the finest in the world, and I found out that people were being taken from there and hired by him,” Trump stated. “When I learned about it, I told him, ‘We don’t want you taking our people.’

One of the victims, Virginia Giuffre, met Epstein and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago.

“I believe she worked at the spa. I think that’s accurate. Yes, he took her,” Trump remarked regarding Giuffre. “And just to clarify, she didn’t have complaints about us.”

Giuffre, who came forward with accusations against Epstein in 2011, had been a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago, where her father was the maintenance manager.

At one point in 2000, the 16-year-old Giuffre met Maxwell, who then helped her secure a position as a travel masseuse for Epstein.
