Ritchie Torres (R-New York) on Wednesday called for “serious consideration” within the Democratic Party on whether to keep President Biden as the party’s nominee. “As we decide how to proceed as a party, we need to seriously consider the impact that who we nominate will have on lower-ranking candidates,” Torres said in a post on social platform X. “It’s not about how we feel, it’s about what the numbers say,” he added.
