With less than two weeks left until Election Day, the latest polls show that former President Trump enjoys historically strong support from young voters in the minority.

Still, the underlying results provide further evidence that political realignment can occur among minority voters based on generation and gender. Black and Latino young people typically support Democratic candidates, but some surveys show support for Harris has weakened among these groups, and they says economic issues and immigration are the community's biggest concerns.
Harris is strong among women of color. Majorities of black women (63%), Asian American and Pacific Islander women (60%), and Latina women (55%) say they support Harris over Trump.

White women were slightly more likely to prefer Harris to Trump, 44% to 40%.
The GenForward poll was conducted from September 26 to October 6 and surveyed 2,359 voters between the ages of 18 and 40. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.13 percentage points.

Both Harris and Trump have focused on reaching out to minority voters toward the end of the 2024 presidential election.
