During a rally in South Carolina on Friday night, President Donald Trump had a memorable response to a protester who interrupted him. The incident occurred around 7:28 p.m. as the protester was removed from the Myrtle Beach Convention Center by security personnel, according to reports.

As the chaotic scene unfolded, Trump took a moment to address the interruption. “That’s all right. That person’s going home to mom. Gonna get scolded because mom is voting for us. You know, mom is voting for us,” he remarked, quickly returning to his speech.

Trump was in Myrtle Beach to support Darline Graham in her Senate campaign, which is heading into a runoff on Tuesday. Even though his name won’t appear on the ballot, he urged his supporters to come out and vote.

“If Trump isn’t actually on the ballot,” he noted, then added a playful request for his supporters to “pretend, please, that I’m on the ballot.” He emphasized the importance of their participation: “Just come and vote. It’s so important,” Trump insisted.

He expressed confidence in Graham, whom he encouraged to run, highlighting her commitment to important issues such as tax reduction, protecting the Second Amendment, and supporting U.S. military forces. “With your support, Darline will defend common sense in our nation’s capital,” he said.

Graham later joined Trump on stage, expressing gratitude for his endorsement and recalling the connection they shared through her late brother, Senator Lindsey Graham. “Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for your endorsement. It has meant the world to me,” she said, acknowledging the crowd’s sentiment towards Trump.
