A new New York Times poll shows Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris in three key states.

In Arizona, Trump is leading Kamala Harris by five points, with previous polls showing her leading by five points in the state.

Trump leads Harris by 2 percentage points in North Carolina, but the latest polls show Kamala Harris leading the state by 2 points.

In Georgia, Trump is leading Harris by 4 percentage points, the same as in previous polls.

Newsweek magazine reported:

Recent polls have shown former President Donald Trump trailing Sen. Kamala Harris in three battleground states, posing a stark warning for the vice presidential campaign.

According to the latest New York Times/Siena College poll of likely voters, conducted Sept. 17-21, Trump is leading the vice president in Sun Belt states such as Georgia, Arizona and North Carolina.

In Georgia, where Trump lost to Joe Biden by fewer than 12,000 votes in the 2020 presidential election, Trump is leading Biden 49 percent to 45 percent.

The latest Georgia poll, conducted August 9-14, showed both candidates tied at 47 percent support.

Meanwhile, in Arizona, Harris trails Trump 45 percent to 50 percent, reversing from 49 percent in August, when her approval rating was higher than Trump's (45 percent).

Trump similarly has a slight lead in North Carolina, a state he won in 2020, with the former president picking up three points to lead Harris, 49-47.
