Former President Donald Trump showed off his golf swing during a charity challenge. US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau This comes less than a month after he and President Joe Biden got into a heated exchange about their respective golf handicaps during the first presidential debate.
Trump and Biden discussed golf handicaps during a debate hosted by CNN on June 27. The former president brought up the issue while discussing his own physical fitness, noting that he had recently won at two golf courses. “Club Championship”

“You have to be pretty smart and be able to hit the ball far to do that, and I can do that,” Trump said. “He can’t do that. He can’t hit the ball 50 yards. He challenged me to a game of golf, and he can’t hit the ball 50 yards.”

Biden was challenged on this claim, claiming that he was able to lower his handicap to six while he was vice president.
But Trump, an avid golfer, didn’t believe it.
“The biggest lie is that he’s a six handicap.”

U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau offers to settle Trump-Biden golf handicap debate

“Do I think Biden can do that? I don’t know,” Trump said after teeing off on the second hole of the round. “We got into an argument about golf, can you believe it?”
Impressed with Trump’s first shot on the 111-yard par-3, DeChambeau exclaimed, “Great shot, right there.”

Trump and DeChambeau, playing at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, combined for a score of 22 under par. They pledged to donate $10,000 to the Wounded Warriors Project for every stroke they finished under par, bringing their total donations to $220,000 on the day.
“I want to thank President Trump “Thank you for coming on this episode of Break 50! It was an honor to play a round with a former President and raise a lot of money for the Wounded Warrior Project,” DeChambeau wrote in the comments section of the video.
“This was all about golf, fun and supporting a great cause.”
