Trump Addresses UN, Rejects Illegal Immigration as a Human Right

During his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Tuesday, President Donald Trump asserted that there is “no human right to illegal immigration.”

He firmly stated that the United States disapproves of the International Criminal Court, emphasizing that the U.S. will “never allow U.S. service members or anyone else to be investigated or subjected to show trials” by what he described as an anti-American organization lacking jurisdiction over the U.S.

Trump took the chance to urge other countries to withdraw from the “rogue institution immediately.” He also criticized U.N. human rights officials for focusing their attention on U.S. laws against leftist movements that advocate for gender-related surgeries and treatments for children, while neglecting the widespread persecution of Christians worldwide. These officials have also criticized the U.S. stance on illegal immigration.

“It is equally unacceptable that, with all the genuine atrocities in the world, the UN’s top human rights officials spend their time criticizing the United States for protecting our children from transgender mutilation and enforcing our immigration laws – what they do is unbelievable,” Trump remarked.

He referred to gender surgeries as “transgender mutilation of our children,” expressing disbelief at the lack of concern from the Human Rights Council regarding the persecution of Christians globally. He pointed out that Christians are facing severe persecution, which he found hard to believe despite its long-standing nature. He argued that, while this persecution continues, there are calls for the U.S. to allow entry to criminals and gangs from dangerous regions.

“They want the worst people to come in from the worst places on earth, and we don’t do it anymore,” he stated, reflecting on the immigration policies under the Biden administration.

In a poignant comment, he noted the contradiction within the United Nations that has an organization dedicated to safeguarding cultural heritage while simultaneously promoting mass migration that, according to him, undermines cultures and history.

Trump concluded by reaffirming, “There is no human right to illegal immigration, but there is a right to remain a sovereign nation, and we want to remain a sovereign nation, and so should you.”
