Trump thanks El Salvador for taking in alleged gang members deported from US

President Donald Trump thanked El Salvador on Sunday after sharing dramatic videos of hundreds of migrant criminals who landed in Central America after being deported from the United States.

Recently, Trump, who summoned the alien enemy law of 1798, allowed the deportation of indigenous people and citizens of the enemy nation without hearing, thanking Naive Bukel on social media.

“I would like to thank El Salvador, especially President Bukere, for understanding this horrifying situation. This was allowed to happen to the United States due to the leadership of an incompetent Democrat,” Trump wrote. “We will never forget!”

Trump also referred to the arrested immigrants as “a monster sent to our country by the bent Joe Biden and the radical left Democrats.”

A top Trump administration official confirmed to Fox News that a total of 261 illegal aliens had been deported to El Salvador yesterday. 137 were removed via the Alien Enemy Act of 1798, 101 were removed via Title 8, 21 were Salvador's MS-13 gang members, and two were “special cases” of El Salvador.

Trump administration officials also confirmed to Fox News that the plane carrying immigrants was already outside of US airspace when a federal judge ordered them to return to the plane.

US District Judge James Boasberg ordered Trump's efforts to immediately halt Trump's efforts to deport gang members who allegedly have more time to consider whether Trump's use of alien enemy law is illegal.

“We did not violate the court's order. As Axios first reported, officials said:

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt told Fox News that the staff were “issued after the terrorists, although there was no legal basis.” [Tren de Aragua] The aliens had already been removed from US territory. ”

“The written order and the administration's actions are not inconsistent,” Leavitt said. “A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movement of an aircraft carrier full of foreign alien terrorists physically expelled from the US soil.”

The prison guards will transfer deporters from the United States, who are said to be members of the Venezuelan gang, to the Terrorism Confinement Centre in Tecolca, El Salvador, on Sunday, March 16, 2025. AP

In a post from X, Bukere said that the migrants will arrive in El Salvador and be moved to a “terrorism confinement centre” where they will stay for at least a year.

In the intense video, a massive armed Salvador authorities suspected of gang members pushing their heads down and carrying them one by one into the facility.

The video was also depicted as the suspect was shaved and curled up into prison with his hands behind his neck.

“As time passes, these actions are combined with production already produced by more than 40,000 inmates engaged in various workshops and labor under the Zero Idleness program, helping to make the prison system independent,” writes Bukele. “As of today, it costs $200 million a year.”

“May God bless El Salvador and God bless America.”

The Bouquele post was also warmly received by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio thanked Salvador's leader for “help and friendship.”
