Trump Attends US Open Men’s Final

Former President Donald Trump was present at the US Open Men’s Final on Sunday, a detail confirmed by White House officials on Thursday evening.

The final will take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows, located in Queens, New York City. As for the participants, they haven’t yet been finalized. Notably, an American man will not be competing in the final since Taylor Fritz was eliminated early in the tournament.

The semi-finals on Friday will determine the finalists. Novak Djokovic is set to compete against Carlos Alkaraz, while Jannik Sinner will take on Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Trump has attended this event many times before. In September 2015, he was spotted at the US Open with his wife, Melania. A photograph from that day features John McEnroe waving at Trump.

He also made appearances in 2014, 2013, and 2010.

Interestingly, Trump has been seen at various sporting events, both during his presidential campaign and while in office. For example, he attended multiple UFC fights last year and was also seen at Pittsburgh Steelers games while campaigning.

This week looks busy for the former president. He plans to attend a New York Yankees game next week, which is set to coincide with the 24th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Additionally, he mentioned that he would be attending the Ryder Cup later this month.
