Trump Highlights Immigration Achievements at North Carolina Rally
President Donald Trump is scheduled to showcase his “America First” immigration achievements during a rally tonight in Greenville, North Carolina. He plans to focus on the apprehension of migrants convicted of serious crimes, such as child sex offenses, robbery, and child abuse, according to sources.
White House spokesperson Lauren Bis stated, “President Trump stopped the invasion of our country and delivered Americans the most secure border in American history.”
During the rally, Trump is likely to point out that his administration has maintained a span of 17 consecutive months without releasing any migrants from the southern border, while more than three million undocumented immigrants are believed to have voluntarily left the United States.
Notably, one of the migrants apprehended in North Carolina during Trump’s tenure is Nelson Alexander Chay from Guatemala, a registered sex offender with a record that includes 16 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor related to obscene materials. Chay has also faced charges for driving under the influence.
Meanwhile, Gustavo Cardenas Arreola, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, was taken into custody in Graham, North Carolina. His criminal history includes 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
In Oxford, North Carolina, ICE agents arrested Isidro Flores Rodriguez, also an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, who was previously convicted of felony child abuse resulting in serious injury. Additionally, Thong Vilaiphone from Laos was apprehended; his convictions include possession of weapons of mass destruction, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and violating felony probation.
A final deportation order for Vilaiphone was issued by a federal immigration judge back in February 1997.
Francis Martinez Alvarez, an undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was arrested recently in New Hanover County, North Carolina. His record includes robbery with a dangerous weapon and illegal re-entry, along with previous arrests for serious offenses like first-degree kidnapping and assault. Alvarez had been deported in June 2007 and faced a second deportation last week under the Trump administration.
Bis further claimed, “Under the President’s leadership, 3 million illegals have left the United States and zero illegals have been released at the border in seventeen months. The President’s law and order policies have contributed to the largest decrease in violent crimes in American history. Meanwhile, radical Democrats want to revert to extreme open border policies, abolish ICE, implement cashless bail, eliminate prisons, and inundate American communities with criminals.”
