Former President Trump is scheduled to visit the nation’s capital on Thursday to visit Republican members of the House and Senate, according to information obtained by Fox News Digital.
Three sources familiar with the plans told Fox News Digital that Trump is planning to visit the Capitol Hill Club, a members-only hotspot for House Republicans, that morning.
According to an invitation sent to senior House Republican aides on Tuesday morning and obtained by Fox News Digital, President Trump is coming at the joint invitation of House leadership including Speaker Mike Johnson, R-Louisiana, Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minnesota, and House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-New York.
Meanwhile, Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Barrasso’s office confirmed to Fox News Digital on Monday night that President Trump is scheduled to address Republican senators on the Senate floor as soon as Thursday.

“I have invited President Trump to meet with members of the Republican Conference,” Barrasso wrote to Senate Republicans in a message obtained by Fox News Digital. “I believe it would be beneficial to hear directly from President Trump about his plans for the summer and share our thinking on his strategic governance agenda for 2025.”
It was not immediately clear when or where the meeting would take place, but the location where President Trump and House Republicans meet is traditionally a preferred venue for them to discuss political issues.

House Republican leadership has been almost completely aligned with Trump since Johnson became speaker in late October, with multiple sources telling Fox News Digital that Johnson keeps Trump informed before announcing major House business items.
President Trump has a clearly different relationship with the top Republican in the Senate, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), whose relationship with President Trump was severed following the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.
But like other Republican senators, McConnell supports Trump’s re-election bid in November.
