Trump Verifies Reports That Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Has Passed Away

Trump Confirms Death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei

Former President Donald Trump has corroborated reports stating that Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei—described by him as “one of the most evil men in history”—was killed in an Israeli operation targeting his residence in Tehran.

In a post on “Society of Truth,” Trump referred to this event as a significant opportunity for the Iranian populace to reclaim their nation. This announcement followed various reports regarding the death of the 86-year-old Khamenei, who had been at the helm of Iran since 1989.

“Ayatollah Khamenei, a figure of profound evil, is no longer with us,” Trump stated. “This act serves justice not just for the Iranian people but for all Americans and many others globally who suffered at the hands of Khamenei and his brutal regime.”

He added that Khamenei and other leaders killed in the attack had no means to escape, stating, “He couldn’t evade our top-notch intelligence and tracking systems and had close ties with Israel.”

According to Breitbart correspondent Oliver J.J. Lane, Trump’s comments followed his earlier announcement of a collaborative U.S.-Israel operation against Iran.

The overnight assault by U.S. and Israeli forces targeted Iran, with Trump addressing the Iranian nation about the necessity of the strike to neutralize what he termed an “imminent threat posed by the Iranian regime.” He indicated that this threat endangers the U.S., its military forces, overseas bases, and global allies. Trump also noted that U.S. forces had recently initiated large-scale combat operations in Iran.

In response, Iran conducted retaliatory strikes against Israel.

The former president emphasized that the primary objective of the operation was to eliminate Iran’s missile reserves and “annihilate” its missile production capabilities. Trump remarked that preventing Iran’s long-range, nuclear-capable missiles from posing a threat to the U.S. and its European allies is vital.

Trump further indicated that his administration had received reports that numerous members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), as well as military personnel and security forces, are hesitant to engage in further conflict and are seeking protection.

“It would be encouraging if the Revolutionary Guards and police could ideally collaborate with Iranian patriots to restore the nation to its intended greatness,” Trump remarked. “This should start soon—not just because Khamenei is dead, but because the country is in such disarray, almost as if it’s been erased in just one day.”
