Golf great John Daly is one of Donald Trump's biggest fans. Following the former president's blockbuster 2024 election, the golfer assured fans that Trump will once again be America's great protector.
In a Fox News interview fox & friends Friday, Daily said Trump is truly an “amazing human being,” he said, adding that what he accomplished during his first four years in the White House was a “miracle.”
“Our country needs Papa Trump and what he did… [when] He became our nation's 45th president…What he accomplished over four years was a miracle,” Daley told Fox News. “He saved us from a lot of things. All he wants to do is protect our country. It's like he wants to protect children and families. Papa Trump wants to protect America. I'm thinking about doing it again.”
The Daily also said that President Trump won because Americans were fed up with the radical anti-American left.
“It goes back to protecting our family,” Daly explained. “We have to protect our borders. We have to protect the American people. We have to protect our families before we protect anyone else. That's what 'Daddy' wants to do. what happened [with] …Venezuelan gangs in Colorado are taking over apartments, people are taking over hotels, immigrants are taking over hotels, etc…You have to protect your family, that's America. ”
The golfer added, “Mr. Trump puts America first, he has the common sense to protect the people who live in this country, and he's just a great human being.” The whole family is wonderful. All they want is to protect us. ”
Daley also told the host that Trump first said he would become president when they met in 1996.
