Trump weighing 25 percent lumber tariffs

President Trump is considering imposing a 25% tariff on international timber and timber products and is attempting to add another item to the expanded list of products under his duties.

“I will announce tariffs on cars, semiconductors, chips, medicines, drugs, medicines, materials and maybe a few other things in the next month.” Trump said Wednesday at the Future Investment Initiative Institute Summit.

“It's going to have a big impact on America. We're getting our business back. If they don't make products in America, they'll have to pay the tariffs very simply, but they're going to be in America. If they make products of, they don't have to pay customs duties,” he added.
