Former President Trump is leading President Biden in seven states that could decide the outcome of the competitive 2024 presidential election.
A new Bloomberg News/Morning Consult survey asked voters in key states who they would vote for in the next presidential election. Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
The poll also found that Trump is currently the most popular candidate in individual polls in states won by Biden in 2020.

Trump holds a five-point lead in Arizona, a state Biden narrowly won in 2020, and leads the Democratic presidential candidate 49% to 44%.
The former president also has a lead in Georgia, another state Biden won in 2020. The poll shows Trump leading Biden by three points in the Peach State, 47% to 44%.

The poll also reported Trump holding a 2-point lead in Pennsylvania, another state Biden won in 2020, 48% to 46%.

Trump holds a one-point lead in Wisconsin, 47% to 46%. The state was the fourth state Biden won in 2020, with polls reporting Trump in the lead months before Election Day.
The poll also found that Trump holds a seven-point lead in North Carolina, 49% to 42%, while the two candidates are tied in Nevada, receiving 47% of the vote.
Biden held a lead in Michigan in the poll, but by just one point, 46% to 45%.

The new results were released in the midst of Trump’s hush-money trial, where he has spent the final weeks of his presidential campaign defending himself in a Lower Manhattan courtroom.

The Bloomberg poll, conducted online from May 7 to 13, had a margin of error of 3 percentage points in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania, plus or minus 4 percentage points in Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin, and plus or minus 5 percentage points in Nevada.
