Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump will have confirmed his Republican presidential nomination by mid-March.
Anchor Dana Bash says, “Let’s start with last night’s South Carolina results. Nikki Haley said 40% is not a small group. She wants an alternative in the Republican primary. There are a lot of voters who are making the case. Those are her words, right? Is her level of support a red flag for Donald Trump?”
“Listen, in the world of politics, a 20-point victory is huge, and it’s the culmination of the victories that President Trump has had all over the country,” Abbott said.
