President Donald Trump is set to showcase his administration’s achievements during his first year in office with a speech at the White House on Wednesday night.
During a news conference on Tuesday, White House press secretary Caroline Levitt provided a preview, indicating that Trump would emphasize his successes over the past eleven months. “As you might have seen on Truth Social, President Trump will address the nation tomorrow at 9 PM ET live from the White House. I know you’ll want to catch it,” Levitt said.
She mentioned her recent conversation with the president in the Oval Office, revealing that he would discuss his accomplishments and outline his plans for the future, aiming to serve the American people for the next three years.
Levitt further noted on Fox News’ “American Report” that Trump “might even poke fun at upcoming policies” set for the new year.
Trump initially announced the speech via his Truth Social account, sharing with his followers that “the best is yet to come!” He added, “My fellow Americans, I will speak to you tomorrow night at 9 PM ET live from the White House, and I truly look forward to seeing you all then. It’s been a fantastic year for our nation, and there’s more to come!”
The Trump administration has been promoting its economic policies as the year wraps up, highlighting initiatives like the Big Beautiful Building Act and tariff policies that favor American workers. Trump recently celebrated these economic achievements in a speech in Pennsylvania and plans to continue this message in North Carolina.
This upcoming address takes place against the backdrop of rising tensions with Venezuela, where the Trump administration has focused on its leadership. Trump’s remarks could reflect on these geopolitical challenges as well.
