Trump: Won’t Let Shooting Change Convention Plans, Headed To Milwaukee Sunday

Former President Donald J. Trump is scheduled to arrive in Milwaukee on Sunday to attend the Republican National Convention.

Trump announced Sunday afternoon that he would arrive as originally scheduled, after initially planning to delay his arrival in the wake of Saturday’s assassination attempt.

“In light of yesterday’s horrific events, I had intended to postpone my trip to Wisconsin and the Republican National Convention for two days,” he wrote, “but I have decided that I cannot allow a ‘gunman’ or potential assassin to force schedule or other changes.”

On Sunday night, President Trump enjoyed an evening at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
