Whoopi Goldberg told her co-host on ABC's “The View” at an oval office meeting between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Voldy Zelensky last week that she was “one of the most embarrassing things” she'd ever seen.
Goldberg said: This is the leader of a sovereign nation and you are trying to show that you are a hard man, so you are doing theatre with him, but I don't think anyone wanted to be a hard man. I don't think you asked them how they felt or how the people who voted for you didn't ask them what they felt about you. ”
She continued. You haven't asked that and I'm sorry. I'm standing with you as you are fighting. Your country is fighting, you are doing it yourself, and you are getting help. But because no one comes to your country and says this is my country. ”
Goldberg added: “We all thought we didn't like it for at least 100 years because many countries in our world have the habit of invading and invading other countries. We don't want to do it. We don't want to be it, and we're here. Who are we?”
