TST is most likely all over your social feed. Here’s what it is exactly.

It existed for two years, but two days later Soccer Tournament This year’s tournament, held in Cary, North Carolina, is shaping up to be a historic winner-take-all tournament with a $1 million prize pool.

Yes, that’s right. There is a former pro-am tournament called TST that awards $1 million to the winner in both the men’s and women’s divisions. The women’s division has eight teams, while the men’s division has 48 teams made up of ex-college and pro players from all over the world. Even ex-NFL players (you’ll see JJ Watt and Chad Ochocinco trying to pitch) and athletes like Pat McAfee have formed teams to share in the prize money.

TST is an offshoot of sports visionary John Mugger. Basketball Tournamentor TBT, is a March Madness-style basketball tournament with a total prize of $1 million that took place about 10 years ago.

TST is soccer’s version of the event, and after the first day, it has become must-watch soccer. ESPN thinks so too, as they are streaming the event exclusively on their platform.

For those of you who haven’t watched yet, here are our top three moments from the tournament so far.

Pat McAfee is a little bit better with the ball.

Pat McAfee is known for his eccentric antics as a podcast host and ESPN commentator, but he’s not exactly someone you’d expect to know anything about “the beautiful game.” That idea came when he referred to CONCACAF, the North American federation that governs soccer, as “ConcafaIn an interview With French legend Thierry Henry.

McAfee may not know much about soccer, but he proved to everyone that he could play a little bit, even in high school. His TST team, known as Concafa FC (which is honestly pretty fun), scored perhaps the best goal of the tournament when McAfee assisted CBS Sports golazo commentator Mike Grella’s scissor kick into the back of the net.

JJ Watt plays football… well, that’s just how it goes.

The most entertaining sight of the tournament so far? 6-foot-5, 289-pound former Houston Texans linebacker JJ Watt playing football for a team loosely representing English club Burnley F.C.

As you may know, Watt plays soccer like it’s football, right down to his Air Jordan 1 cleats. Post up Chad Ochocinco and Criticizing TST fans in attendance for their fat appearanceHe is fully committed to the competition.

Chad Ochocinco’s three must-haves

Chad Ochocinco has always professed his love of football, and during his offseason as an NFL All-Pro wide receiver, he worked out hard. And I tried it. — playing for an MLS club. And Ochocinco is still lightning fast and can hit the ball, as he did for TST club The Natty SC in their match against JJ Watt’s Burnley on Wednesday. What’s the secret to staying in tip-top shape and good enough to compete for $1 million? Naps, McDonald’s and… half a Viagra. Oh, and water, of course.
