Packers’ Tucker Craft Shines in Victory Against Steelers

During the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, tight end Tucker Craft felt on top of the world. The Packers improved their season record to 5-1-1, with Craft putting on a remarkable performance—his stats included seven catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns in the 35-25 win.

After a standout touchdown, he made quite an impression by headbutting offensive lineman Sean Reihan while still without a helmet, which raised a few eyebrows.

In discussion with NBC’s Melissa Stark about that headbutting moment, he referenced the movie “The Program,” saying, “That’s Vlad. That’s just the spirit. That’s what we do.” Stark simply nodded in reply.

Craft is quickly establishing himself as the top target for the Packers, leading the team with 30 catches totaling 469 yards and six touchdowns—just shy of Romeo Doubs, who has seven touchdowns. It’s his second season, and he’s already showing improvement from last year, where he had 50 receptions for 707 yards.

“I’m just so grateful for everything they’ve done for me behind the scenes,” Craft expressed. “It’s hard to put into words how I’m feeling; just immense gratitude. We’ll keep moving forward and racking up wins.” His emotions were evident, particularly when he called out to his community back home in Timberlake, South Dakota. A broadcast captured local residents packed into a bar, eagerly watching the game.

Green Bay selected Craft in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he’s been on a steady upward trajectory ever since. This season, he’s on track to break his own career records.

Timber Lake, he emphasized, “I love you. Thank you so much.” It’s clear he appreciates his journey and the support he’s receiving.
