What is Kamala Harris' foreign policy?
Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard speaks on “The Ingraham Angle” about Vice President Kamala Harris' lack of “knowledge and power.”
Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii, told Fox News Digital on Monday that she would be “honored to serve” in a Trump administration if one is formed.
Gabbard has said that if nominated, she would like to serve in a position where she can have the greatest influence, particularly in areas related to foreign policy and national security. Gabbard is an active-duty military veteran who has served two tours of duty in the Middle East and currently serves as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves.
“I feel like I can have the most influence in the areas of national security and foreign policy and work to bring about the change that President Trump talks about,” Gabbard said at a campaign fundraiser in Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday night. Gabbard added that among her priorities are ending the “influence of the military-industrial complex,” working to prevent World War III and pulling the U.S. back “from the brink of nuclear war.” War should be a “last resort,” Gabbard said. She also supports former President Trump's plan to end the Ukraine war.
Tulsi Gabbard reveals how she “analyzed” Kamala Harris during the 2019 Democratic primary debates
Tulsi Gabbard spoke to Fox News Digital on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, about potentially joining the Trump administration.
Gabbard served as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee from 2013 to 2016 and previously endorsed candidates including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and President Biden. But she grew closer to the Republican Party due to changes within her former party that didn't sit well with her, then left the party before finally joining President Trump's transition team last month.
“Every day, in different places, I often meet with former Democrats and people who are leaving the Democratic Party,” Gabbard said Monday. “They are on the same page as me, they've had the same experiences as me, and they realize that the Democratic Party today is not for them, it's not for freedom, it's not for civil rights, it's not for peace.”

The former Democratic congressman has openly opposed the impact of a Harris administration on global peace, and on Monday accused Democrats, including Vice President Kamala Harris, of refusing to engage in diplomatic negotiations with America's adversaries.
“President Trump has done what President Obama refused to do, what President Biden refused to do, what Senator Kamala Harris has made it clear that she will refuse to do, which is to go out and do the hard work that a president and a commander in chief have to do in diplomacy,” Gabbard said. “Not just with our friends and allies and partners, but actually go out and talk to our adversaries.”

Gabbard argued that peace will be harder to achieve unless White House leaders are open to this kind of diplomacy, and she also accused Harris of escalating the war in Ukraine and making “thoughtless” comments about the possibility of a nuclear disaster.

“The longer this war continues, and the longer Kamala Harris, Joe Biden and the neoconservatives in Washington continue to escalate this war, the greater the risk of nuclear war, World War III,” Gabbard said Monday. “It is unconscionable and unacceptable that Kamala Harris and others continue to escalate this war.” [the war in Ukraine] Too careless about the reality of nuclear war.”
