There is no place in the Democratic Party for independent thinkers like me. But there is a place for us in the Republican Party.
The warmongering elite, Dick Cheney's Republican Party, is a thing of the past. President Trump's Republican Party is a big open-tent party that believes in people, equality, and common sense, and is led by a president who has the courage and strength to fight for peace.
Tonight, I stood by President Trump and announced that I am joining the Republican Party. President Trump is our greatest hope and our only hope in this election to lead this country toward a future where each of us can truly live in a free, peaceful, and prosperous country. Now is the time for us to come together and vote for Trump and save our country.
Tulsi Gabbard praised Donald Trump, saying, “I'm proud to stand here with President Trump today and announce that I'm joining the Republican Party. I'm joining the People's Party.”
Gabbard cited her admiration for President Trump's leadership in “transforming the Republican Party and returning it to the party of the people and the party of peace” as one of the reasons for her decision.
“I'm proud to stand here with President Trump today and announce that I'm joining the Republican Party. I'm joining the People's Party,” Gabbard said.
“The Party of Equality. A party founded to oppose and end slavery in this country. It is a party of common sense, a party led by a president who has the courage and strength to fight for peace. Yes,” Gabbard added.
