I admitted that I did it. Tupac, 25, was shot four times and died at the hospital six days later.

Davis wrote in his memoir that after the Mike Tyson boxing match, Tupac Shakur and his entourage beat Anderson that night at the MGM Grand Hotel, prompting him and his crew to retaliate.

In July, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department searched Davis’ home in Henderson, Nevada, and seized several computers, laptops and iPads from the home, as well as a .40-caliber bullet, according to a search warrant obtained by the newspaper. .

“The timing is very interesting and I was a little taken aback because this should have happened a long time ago,” Moprem said.

“People talk about all sorts of things, but that doesn’t mean there’s any meaning to it. Then I found out that the detective on the case suddenly retired. I was perplexed by the story, but… Someone else in the department said they are still working on it and are moving on.”

DiGiacomo said at a news conference that investigators have information about what led to the shooting, but there are still some gaps.

“What was missing was admissible evidence to establish this sequence of events,” the prosecutor said. “[Davis] In the book, he admitted to obtaining the guns to hunt down Mr. Shakur and Mr. Knight. ”

“It’s a blatant disregard for my unsolicited memories of one of the greatest rappers and icons of all time,” Moprem said.

“I’m not a lawyer or a cop, but I watch a lot of ‘Law & Order’…and he said that himself, and was definitely involved. He admitted this.

“But we’re here and we want to know the motive and the other accomplices. We’re looking at this indictment and bracing ourselves.”

Anderson and the two other people who were with Davis the night of Tupac’s shooting all died, and no witnesses have come forward to tell what happened that night.

Moprem said he plans to appear in court once the trial begins. When asked what he would say to Davis if he had the chance, he paused and added: He doesn’t know how much control he has. ”
