Turning Point USA Reveals Schedule for Competing Super Bowl Halftime Show

TPUSA Announces Alternative Halftime Show

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) revealed its lineup for an “All-American Halftime Show” set to compete with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny’s performance scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday.

The show will feature artists such as Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. It will be streamed on platforms like Rumble and Real America’s Voice, serving as a counter to Bad Bunny’s act, which has garnered attention due to his frequent cross-dressing and outspoken views against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The NFL defended its choice of Bad Bunny, emphasizing his significant international following. In a statement to ESPN, they stated that he has a “massive global footprint.”

Kristi Noem, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, criticized the league’s decision. Appearing on “The Benny Johnson Show,” she mentioned that ICE would have a presence at the Super Bowl, asserting that only law-abiding citizens should attend the event.

Noem expressed strong sentiments, saying, “They suck. We’re going to win and God bless us, and at the end of the day, we’re going to stand up and be proud of ourselves. They’re not going to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe and are very weak.”

During the Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny reiterated his anti-ICE stance, stating, “Before I say thank God, I want to say ICE Out.” Previously, he hinted at avoiding U.S. tours due to concerns about ICE acting at his events. In one of his songs, he even mimicked Donald Trump apologizing to immigrants.

In response to Bad Bunny’s halftime performance, TPUSA announced in October that they would host their own show, aimed at promoting a pro-American message and appealing to those with religious beliefs. During an October 6 statement, it was suggested that the NFL’s lineup was “absolutely ridiculous.”
