Guy Benson, a political analyst at FOX News, is now a father once again. The growth of his family has sparked congratulations from notable figures within Republican media.
On Monday, Benson, 39, took to Instagram to share the news that he and his husband, Adam Wise, welcomed their daughter, Madison Halsey, on July 15.
In his post, he expressed, “She’s here. She’s perfect,” and it quickly garnered over 10,000 likes.
A photo included shows him holding his newborn in a hospital room, revealing her wrapped in a patterned blanket and wearing a charming pink and white striped hat.
He elaborated, saying, “We are so blessed and so happy to welcome Madison Halsey into this world and into our family. Our hearts are full. It’s a baby girl, and we are incredibly grateful.”
This marks the second child for the couple, who had previously welcomed their son, Conrad James, via surrogate in November 2023.
Another image shared by Benson captures their living room, where Madison rests in a stroller near a window, providing a lovely view of their lush backyard.
The announcement attracted well-wishes from various conservative personalities, such as former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and Fox News host Dana Perino.
On their Instagram accounts, both Haley and Perino extended their congratulations.
Benson hosts “The Guy Benson Show” on Fox News Radio and has openly discussed his family life during his broadcasts.
In 2015, he published a book titled “The End of the Debate: How the Left’s Rage Industry Shuts Down the Debate, Manipulates Voters, and Loses America’s Freedom (and Fun),” co-written with Mary Katherine Hamm.
Having married Wise, a talent agent, in 2019, Benson identifies as a “free market, less government conservative” and also as gay. This dual identity can sometimes create complexities within conservative media.
So far, the couple has kept their public comments limited to the updates shared on social media.
