In the documentary following his mission, the scene explains the secondary debt market and how the high-cost credit that has ruined so many lives. But this is not a billionaire vanity project. It reveals the evils of the UK's current credit system (the bank made a profit of £44.3 billion in 2023, he says). He talks to people trapped in debt, like illegal loan sharks, seeking a fair system, listening to Gordon Brown and the government, and talking about how to make a difference. Holly Richardson
