Storyville's horrifying film focuses minute-by-minute on the events experienced by the partygoers. There's no exploration of the broader context, and the disclaimer reads, “This film cannot tell everyone's story.” But it does remind us that to fail to empathize with innocent civilians on both sides of a conflict is to lose humanity.
