Actor Anthony Ramos, who plays Javi in the new movie “Twisters,” is a fan of “The Chosen.” During a red carpet interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Ramos was asked about the TV series he’s currently watching and which ones he’d recommend to others.
“I’m watching a show called The Chosen,” Ramos says in the video. “It’s a really good show. It’s really good. The first two seasons are on Netflix.”
Directed by Dallas Jenkins and produced by Angel Studios, The Chosen has been a huge hit among Christians and recently released its fourth season. The show follows the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and his disciples.
Reports say DeseretRamos said, John Lawrence and Philip Hamilton on Broadway He also worked on the production of Hamilton and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s film In the Heights.
While starring in Hamilton, he was featured in a “Broadway People” post in which he spoke about his Christian faith.
“I love God, I’m a Christian and I believe there’s a plan for every person that lives on this earth. It’s about connecting with God, finding out what the plan is that He wants you to walk in and walking in that plan by keeping your head down and staying focused,” he said.
He has also posted comments about his faith on social media.

Other cast members of “Twisters” also spoke about the TV shows they’re watching or recommend, including Daisy Edgar-Jones’ “Formula 1: Drive to Survive,” Sasha Lane’s “Scandal,” Brandon Perea’s “Love Island UK,” and Daryl McCormack’s “The Night Of.”
“Twisters,” which hits theaters on July 19, is a sequel to the 1996 disaster film “Twister.”
