Twisting the truth: Wikipedia’s ongoing misinformation war

For over a decade I have discussed with Wikipedia curators about biographical sketches covering my life and work. Every time the agent or I correct any false or defamatory details, the false information reappears within a few weeks – often with even more distortion. My friend who helped me with this thankful effort suggests that no matter how many times we correct, falsehoods will always reappear, and I give up.

Christopher Luffo ensures that anyone paying attention knows Wikipedia is tilting left, misrepresenting people who are thought to be unacceptable. However, after gaining unfriendly critics for decades, I don't think most readers will dismiss Wikipedia's misrepresentation.

One position I will never hide is my light emptying against the peddler of what George Orwell called the “smelling little orthodox.” Such people cannot be easily spit enough.

We also observed Wikipedia's double standard in editing the biographies sketch. My technological expertise has been spending weeks trying to correct inaccurate statements about me. Each time, they must provide excessive documentation and navigate endless conflicts before even minor revisions are approved. No matter how often successful, new distortions inevitably replace the old ones.

When left-leaning contributors make unfounded claims about numbers related to the “dark side” of political claims, those claims are often not checked. Latest version Of my Wikipedia entries I mistakenly state that I am against the existence of Israel. I have never expressed any similar emotions remotely.

I criticized AIPAC for unfairly attacking Israeli critics, but I have always defended it. Israel's right to protect itself. But my biographer offers flimsy evidence to suggest that it is not. One of the estimated indicators was my past friendship with the late Mareirosbyrd, who was explicitly anti-Zionist. But why do you assume I shared all of his opinions, including his attitude towards Israel?

Another so-called proof is that I've only once. I wrote a review essay For American conservatives about Elmer Berger, a reform rabbis critical of Israel's establishment as a Jewish state. I described Berger's position as unrealistic, but I don't seem to have strongly criticized him to satisfy those keenly portraying him as anti-Israel.

Guilt by the Association

Wikipedia contributors try to trust me by linking me to white nationalism. They note that I spoke at the American Renaissance Conference in the 1990s, but do not mention that my comments focus solely on my research on American conservatism.

The entry also highlights my past acquaintance with Richard Spencer, but the relationship largely presupposed his embrace of public white nationalism. Even more tenuously, it refers to an attack from ADF on an organization I once led, claiming it was “friendly” to white racists. But even a Wikipedia entry acknowledges that our group was never identified as racist in nature.

These misrepresentations follow familiar patterns. When left-wing editors shape the story, they demand thorough evidence to correct the error. Meanwhile, unfounded smears for those they oppose remain unchallenged.

The Wikipedia entry omits what I had written for years for a left-wing magazine, and members of the conservative facility once said to me.Right-wing Marxism. For decades, I have worked with a wide range of political groups, both on the right and on the left, but rarely in the facility. My work is not a field of study, so I don't focus on race. Instead, my scholarship examines political movements in Europe and America.

Nevertheless, Jacob Siegel of Wikipedia and tablets argue that I have written extensively about Latin fascism, and am trying to create a “post-fascist” imitation of my current age. My research on changing concepts of fascism has nothing to support that strange conclusion. I have consistently argued that fascism belongs to historical times in the past; Ancient, failed political model.

The opposite of reality

One of the strangest and most obvious errors about my work appears in the arguments of “cultural Marxism,” which appears to be a Jewish plot, rather than a biography of Wikipedia. There I'm listed incorrectly Key sources This ugly, broad, anti-Semitic accusation – an assertion that conveniently coincides with my misleading portrayal in my biopic sketch.

This charging is completely unfounded. Not only has I never assumed Wikipedia attributes to me, but my books explicitly reject them. The reality is the opposite of what my critics argue.

I argued that the success of critical theory in the United States was due to the evolution of the country and compatibility with management countries engaged in social engineering. Also, today's eye awakening ideology – promoted by the media, educators and public administrators – is much more radical, Much less insightful Above all, it was proposed by a theorist at the Frankfurt School. Even modern awakened activists and so-called conservatives can be considered by early Frankfurt school thinkers Homophobia and sexist.

Wikipedia also argues that Telos, originally a defender of critical theory, was a legitimate left-wing magazine that I thought would have taken control and turned it into a “far-right” publication. The entry mistakenly states, “Under Gottfried's tenure, Telos has become far-right with that outlook.” In fact, I never served as an editor for a magazine. Paul Pikcone took on that role. I am one of many contributors to the editorial board and have played a small role in the involvement of publications with European right-wing ideas.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Telos began exploring criticism of a centralized management structure, including the perspective of the “radius” thinkers on the right. This shift was not a result of my supposed influence, but rather a part of the broader intellectual evolution within the publication.

Of course, I don't expect Wikipedia to portray me fairly, but I hope that others won't judge me based on that forgery. One position I will never hide is my light emptying against me and others like them.A stinky, sniffy orthodox.“You can't just splash such people enough.
