Two and a Half Men is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The show follows the life of Charlie Harper, whose world changes when his brother Alan and son Jake move in together after Alan’s divorce.

Before starring as Charlie Harper in Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen appeared in Independence Day, Platoons, The Rookie, Spin City, and He had already achieved success as an actor. His role in “Two and a Half Men” earned him two Golden Globe Award nominations and four Emmy Award nominations. He also appeared in “Scary Movie 3” and “Scary Movie 4,” as well as “Due Date.”
In 2011, Sheen was fired and banned from appearing in Warner Bros., where the show was on hiatus, citing his struggles with substance abuse. He got sober in December 2017 and told Jay Leno on an episode of “Jay Leno’s Garage” that one day he had an “epiphany” and realized he needed to change, and he has been sober ever since. He said he had not been drinking.
His big return to television was in the series “Anger Management,” which aired from 2012 to 2014. During the show’s run, he also appeared in “Madea’s Witness Protection,” “Scary Movie V,” and “Machete Kills.”
Sheen was married to Donna Peele from 1995 to 1996 and then to Denise Richards from 2002 to 2006. They have two daughters, Sami and Laura. She was then married to Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011, and the two had twin sons Bob and Max. He also shares his daughter Cassandra Estevez with his high school girlfriend.

Jon Cryer began his professional career on Broadway before getting his break as Philip F. “Ducky” Dale in the John Hughes film Pretty in Pink. He landed the role of Alan Harper in Two and a Half Men, further increasing his profile.
He has also appeared on “CSI: Forensic Investigations”, “Weathering with You”, “Due Date”, “Hit by Lightning”, “NCIS”, “The Great Indoors”, “The Ranch”, He also appeared in Justice League Action. He went on to appear in “Ryan Hansen Solve Crimes on TV,” “Batwoman,” “The Flash,” “Arrow” and “DC Legends of Tomorrow.” He most recently appeared in “The Kominsky Method,” “18 1/2,” and “Supergirl.”
Cryer was married to Sarah Trigger from 1999 to 2004, and the two had a son, Charlie Austin. He then married Lisa Joyner in 2007, and the couple adopted a baby girl named Daisy.

Angus T. Jones played Jake Harper in Two and a Half Men, and by the time he was 17, he was the highest-paid child actor. He played this character from 2003 to 2014, and his last episode aired in 2015. Before starring in the show, he appeared in “See Spot Run,” “The Rookie,” and “Bringing Down the House.”
In 2012, Jones revealed that he was baptized in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Jones blasted the show in a video from the Christian group Forerunner Chronicles, saying he no longer wanted to participate.
“If you’re watching ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I don’t want to,” he said in the video. “Stop filling your head with filth by watching this. He did not appear in the show’s 11th season, but returned in a cameo appearance in the show’s season finale. After leaving the show, Jones appeared in one episode of the miniseries Horace and Pete.

After Sheen was fired, Ashton Kutcher was hired to replace him and played Walden Schmidt in Two and a Hard Men. Previously, he appeared in “The Butterfly Effect,” “Punk,” “The Guardian,” “It Happens in Las Vegas” and “Valentine’s Day.”
He went on to star in “Jobs,” “No Strings Attached,” “Annie,” and “The Ranch.” More recently, he has appeared in Vengeance, Stoner Cats, Your Place or Mine, appeared on the first episode of That ’90s Show, and had his breakout role on That ’70s Show. was replayed. He also made successful investments in startups and founded an international anti-trafficking organization called Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children.
Kutcher was married to Demi Moore from 2005 to 2013 and then to Mila Kunis in 2015, and they have two children, a daughter named Wyatt and a son named Dimitri.

He and Kunis recently received backlash after it was revealed that they had written a character profile on behalf of former co-star Danny Masterson, who was convicted of double rape. In his letter, Mr. Kutcher said Mr. Masterson was a person of “innate goodness” and was not a “continuing source of harm to society.” He and Kunis later apologized, and Kutcher resigned as chairman of Thorn’s board.

Conchata Ferrell is best known for her role as Bertha in Two and a Half Men. She has been nominated for three Emmy Awards throughout her career, two of which were for “Two and a Half Men.”
Ferrell has also appeared in “Becker,” “Judge Amy,” “Surviving Eden,” “Kabeluis,” “Frankenweenie” and “Wishin’ and Hopin’.” She later appeared in “Krampus,” “Postal Jerk,” and “Grace and Frankie.” Her last on-screen roles include “The Villisca Ax Murders,” “The Corral,” “A Very Nutty Christmas,” and “Deported.”
She married Ernie Anderson in 1986 and they had a daughter named Samantha. She also had two stepdaughters, Lisa and Caitlin Anderson. Ferrell passed away in October 2020 after complications from cardiac arrest.
