Two beloved Hollywood classics about to get woke remakes

Hollywood has been on a downward slide toward progressivism for some time now, but despite repeatedly losing millions of dollars and alienating audiences left and right, the film industry has no intention of jumping on the woke bandwagon. It seems so.

Dave Rubin shared the disappointing news that two popular classic movies will be remade in the near future.

“They're remaking 'The Wizard of Oz' as a non-white 'Wizard of Oz,'” he said, sighing, insisting that the original film was “perfect” and “should never be touched.”

Another classic that is slated for a remake is “It's Wonderful, Life.''

The filmmaker responsible for these revamps is Kenya Barris, best known as the creator of ABC's hit sitcom “Black-ish.”

Dave plays a video of Barris explaining to Variety his plans for a diverse, LGBTQ-inclusive remake of The Wizard of Oz and It's a Wonderful Life.

“The original Wizard of Oz was set during the Great Depression and was a story about self-reliance,” Barris explains. “I think now is the perfect time to talk about what we are doing.” ”

“It's a Wonderful Life” is “the story of a man trying to help his community…and I think it's the perfect story to tell to people of color, whether they're black or brown,” Barris continued. .

“Nobody needs to reinvent these things. If you think 'The Wizard of Oz' wasn't gay enough…you should be studied by scientists because you're so gay,” Dave laughs.

But in all seriousness, “what DEI will bring is an endless decline in everything,” which means “our movies won't be as good.”

“They destroyed everything in Hollywood.”
