Two people were killed and seven others were injured in a shooting early Saturday morning at an outdoor shopping mall in Doral, Florida, local authorities said.
“Preliminary information from investigators is that there was some kind of altercation or altercation between patrons at a local establishment within this commercial complex,” said Detective Alvaro Zabaleta of the Miami-Dade Police Department. Zabaleta also said six people were shot, one woman and five men. He said two of the injured were admitted to a trauma center in “serious condition”.
according to to Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez said the investigation into the shooting is a “multi-agency investigation” between the Doral Police Department, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FLDE) and the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD).
